After the use of wooden food trays or wooden chop boards, the common way is that you rinse them with warm water. Soaking them in clean water is not recommended, because it may cause bacteria to grow and wooden utensils to crack in the future. If these wooden trays for meat have oil remained on the surface, it is recommended to use neutral dish washing detergent, and then rinse it in dish washing sponge or other cleaning tools that will not hurt the wooden trays. It is not suggested to put wooden utensils in the dishwasher, because the fast drying function may cause damage to the surface of these utensils. After cleaning the wooden trays for food, you had better wipe them dry with a clean towel before putting them away instead of letting them dry naturally.
